V and Square

DAY 1


V is for Vulture, Vase and Violets

I sent the kids out for some fresh air and some sidewalk chalk drawing time. They seemed to like being outside.

I had each kid try to write the letter V. They loved this.

Abbey didn't want my help at all. She wanted to try it all on her own.

Maddie would have stayed there all day if i let her. She loved using the markers and erasing and drawing.

Day 1 went well. We went over flash cards, read books, sang songs, ate snacks and made crafts. The kids were really good and had a lot of fun.

DAY 2

We had a Vegetable day. Pretty much the whole time that the kids were here we worked on the Vegetable prints. While they were taking turns we watched Veggie tales. They also looked at books and played. We went over flash cards and talked about the letter V and how Vegetables start with V. It was a fun day. I love listening to them talk to each other and play together. It is fun to see how much they have changed this year from last year. They are excited to learn and sing and draw and do their crafts. And of course eat. They would eat the whole time if I let them.

We had celery with peanut butter. Abbey was the only one that would try it. Our other snacks that went with the letter V were Vanilla waffers and the Vegetables (carrots and celery)


V is for Vegetables!!!!

Maddie went first and the other kids could not wait to get started on theirs! They crowded and fought about who's next and what colors they wanted to do.

GaVin went next and really liked blue and red vegetable prints.

Royce was the only one that didn't want to do all the Vegetables. He never likes to participate when I have Joy School. He just wants to play with "his kids" haha

Seth wanted to do the color white for all the vegetables. I had to let him try and then when he realized he can't see them on the paper very well then he was good with adding in other colors.
